What is it?
Mongolian Bling – Adventures in Nomadic Hip Hop follows hip hop’s journey into the ancient Mongolian culture and reveals a world of youth searching for identity through beats and rhymes.
Squareweave worked with the Mongolian Bling team on a portal for their social media connections, a vital checkpoint for a fresh upcoming documentary about Mongolian artists using hip hop to try and salvage their country’s failing democracy, bringing Mongolia’s rich musical history into their modern beats and rhymes.

Why was it awesome?
- It was awesome because the project is awesome. Go watch the trailer already.
- Aside from the creative direction and build of the actual site, we worked with Ben and his team to direct their net presence towards a modern, social media oriented direction.
(We almost want to say something horrifically 2.0 like “leveraging thought leaders and real-time human capital”, but we won’t. That would be silly.)
